Since registering his first homebred Arabian in 1963, Raymond Mazzei has travelled the world, spending multiple years throughout Europe, Russia, and Israel. This experience opened the door for Raymond to visualize Arabian pedigrees in real life, to learn the successes and errors of previous breeders, and to gain the knowledge needed to create an exceptional breeding philosophy.

Cultivating everything he learned from overseas, he founded Furioso Farm in 1983 where his mission focused on breeding unique bloodlines. To date Raymond has created the finest Straight Egyptian Horses in North America and has produced some of the biggest once in a lifetime champions that the Arabian world will ever see. Raymond tributes his predecessors who have taught him to keep an open mind, and to always consider what works and doesn’t when selecting a bloodline.

Despite his success, Raymond provides hands on, and one-on-one care to all the Arabians at Furioso Farm.  With over 50 years of experience in training, breeding, showing and marketing, Raymond provides Master Consultations worldwide to those seeking to enhance or embark upon a legacy of Arabian Excellence.
